To start the calculation the initial conditions have to be defined. So check the initial room conditions (temperature, relative humidity, CO2 concentration) for the respective zone and modify them according to your needs. Next you can decide whether the distribution of solar gains should be proportional to area or user defined. If you choose user defined you can enter a solar gain value for each component of the zone under [[Plus 2.X:Visualized_Components#Thermal|Surface]] in the Thermal subsection. Also a factor for solar radiation that goes directly to the inner air can be entered here.
To start the calculation the initial conditions have to be defined.
The accuracy of the calculation can be established. Note, that lower accuracy also means faster calculation and likewise higher accuracy slower calculation.

To start the calculation the initial conditions have to be defined.

  • Check the initial room conditions (temperature, relative humidity, CO2 concentration) for the respective zone and modify them according to your needs. *Next you can decide whether the distribution of solar gains should be proportional to area or user defined. If you choose user defined you can enter a solar gain value for each component of the zone under Surface in the Thermal subsection.

  • Besides it can be decided whether calculation should be aborted or continued with increased air supply from outer air if an negative air balance occurs.
