Setting Numerical Parameters

The numerical parameters control WUFI's behavior during the calculation.

Most important, you have to specify a starting date (e.g. October 1) of the calculation and the number of time steps to be performed. The time step size is usually 1 hour; if needed, you may specify other time steps. See the topic "Background" for a discussion on suitable choices of time step widths.

You may also select or de-select certain quantities for output. De-selecting quantities you are not interested in will reduce the size of the result file. The quantities available for output are temperature, relative humidity, water content, vapor pressure, heat flux, capillary flux and diffusion flux.
